Also, in the job interview dont ramble on just answer the questions in a couple of sentences. People tend to throw good attributes on blank slates rather than bad ones.
Never ever say you hate something (games, designers, programming languages whatever) If you dont like something give reasons but also come up with positive things about it as well.
I get to sit in on a lot of job interviews and the people that ramble on and on and the people that hate on the weather/music/movies/etc.. that get brought up dont get invited back very often.
Probably one of the most important things you can do is follow up to every phone call or e-mail as soon as humanly possible. It sounds obvious but you would be suprised with how many people think a full week is plenty fast. Most companies really dont have the time to hound people until they get a resopnse.
