| Funny story but I need a bloody US mssql (2005 preferred) server. Anyone know some site that sells one? |

How much power do you actually need? Newegg has the Workgroup and Standard editions for $680 and $1450, respectively, but if you really just need a bare-bones version of the program, Microsoft has SQL Express 2005 and the Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio Express available for download free of charge.
Express has a cap on size and performance, however if it's a little product, it may be sufficient. |

| uh, I'm looking to rent a mssql server not actually run one myself. Power wise, it's probably gonna handle a whopping 20-30 queries per day so I was hoping for one of those 5/mo hosting deals except with mssql instead of mysql. |

So whatever you're running can't be arsed to use actual SQL and uses some horrific MSSQL extensions of some kind? Yuck. _________________
