hi guys!

because i like to half-learn weird programming nonsense and apply it in pointless ways, and because i got a new phone, i've been fiddling with this 'j2bridge' application that's meant to convert j2me apps to work under brew phones.

now, after installing a bunch of SDKs and what not whose functionality i only marginally understand.. i've gotten, remarkably, what appears to be most of the way there.

j2bridge requires a handful of jvm .dll's (got those), a .jar (of course; i'm trying to convert vNes in this instance), a brew id (found a program that generated a bum one for me), and "the stub.dll and stub.mod files for the jvm."

this, i don't understand. my jvm is was not packaged with any such files; the only research i've been able to do so far indicates that it may or may not be a renamed zipfile?

anybody have any idea?
