The uber-kitsch-castle Neuschwanstein should be a place to see as well ... it's like the Disneyland castle(s) though the people that built this one were serious about it.

And if you're trying to skip munich and/or the biergarten, I'll be there to hunt you down and force you to do so, if I have time/depending when you're around.

[edit] Aaah nearly forgot, a visit to the german Autobahn might be worth your time as well.
