| i'm pretty sure the UK does the best indian food in the world. |
i don't know; the cheap-as-shit curry i've had in london is about as good as the cheap-as-shit curry i eat in tokyo. meanwhile, the expensive-as-hell curry i've had in london is about as good as the expensive-as-hell curry i eat in tokyo.
in other words, i find it easy to imagine that india might just do indian food better.

| If you like burritos, there's an awesome place called Mexi-Cali on Berwick St. The food is a bit pricier than you'd probably like - £5.50ish - but the burritos are very filling and tasty. |
Oh lord no, not there.
Then again, I've lived in America, so I'm biased when it comes to Mexican.
I find that good Indian curry regularly (in Tokyo at least, "Indian" is definitely a catch-all for currys Indian, Pakistani, Bangladeshi (to differentiate them from Thai, Japanese, Chinese, Turkish, et cetera)) can keep me from thinking about Mexican food. Until, that is, someone mentions Mexican food. _________________
