**ok, some of them aren't 50% off, but they are all atleast 38% off, and all of the final prices range from $15-$20 for single movies. |

| There also appears to be an HD-DVD sale, although I'd imagine we'll see some really big ones in the coming months. |

I"m in for Rocky Balboa (6th rocky movie), Donnie Brasko, Big Fish, and The Host. I haven't seen any of these movies but know that I will like them, probably a lot. I'm really eager to see The Host. I wanted to see it in theaters really badly, but Alaska did not show it anywhere.
*I also bought LOST season 3 on Blu-ray (included in the above sale) a week ago from Amazon at the same price since it has been 40% off for about a month. |

Rocky Balboa is a great film, which was pretty surprising given the dreck that was Rocky V. The Host was a bit of a disappointment. I mean, there were funny moments and interesting monster moments, but the CG reeeeaaaallly sticks out and that made it rather difficult to get into the movie.
I picked up Paprika, as I'm a fan of Satoshi Kon's previous films and looking at Rotten Tomatoes, it should be as entertaining as the others. |

man I allllllmost got paprika. I wasn't sure though as I haven't seen any of his other films and am really picky about anime. I haven't yet seen any hand drawn stuff on Blu-ray though....I might go and order it still.
**and yeah I'm really looking forward to Rocky Balboa as I really enjoy the first 4. |

THIS. Rocky 6 is one of the most impressive movies ever. I loved all the visual effects used throughout the movie. That sort of stuff needs to be done more often. |

The Blu-ray transfer is apparently "perfect", I'm very excited to watch it. |

Rocky's speech to his son made me cry.
I'm surprised that people were surprised about how good RB was -- I mean, Rocky VI would never had worked in the 90s, but of course it's going to be great when he's even older. _________________
