Okay, I need to get from San Jose to San Rafael for an interview with Telltale Games.
How the fuck do I manage this? I don't have a car, and I'm looking at the BART station thing and as far as I can tell this is gonna involve me a) hopping a lightrail to the BART station, b) getting on BART to San Francisco, c) Catching a ferry to San Rafael, and d) riding my bike/walking from there to Telltale.
Obviously if I have to do this every day to go to work, uh, that's not gonna work out since that's like a 3 hour commute one-way. They mentioned the possibility of a carpool on the phone so we'll see.
It's only 60 miles, though. It's an hour drive, tops, and that's nothing for me. On the east coast I knew people who lived in Providence and went to New York or Boston daily via public transportation, so an hour commute one way is not a big deal for me, and I'm hoping/praying there's some less insane method of public transport to get from SJ to SR here. This should be doable but either the public transportation system is a motherfucking mess or I'm completely retarded (in my defense it's 2AM and I'm exhausted).
So is anyone really familiar with the area and can maybe fill me in on something I might've missed? Barring that, uh...Anyone wanna give me a ride to San Rafael? I'll kick you gas money and give you a full MAME ROMset or something? _________________

you could BART up the other end, get off at Richmond, and take a bus from there to San Rafael. Still would take you a while, though. _________________ -pat m.
