see, because South Park is smart.
I'm a fan of well executed lame comedy and puns. therefore I'm a big fan of Futurama.
I DON NOT like comedy that is in my face, obvious, rubbing it all over, beating it over and over, or reaching really far for a barely there joke. so I don't Like Family guy, and even less the later into the series you get.
South Park is so popular because its great. its really well balanced. well executed. and it does not pull punches. something that everyone else does. South Park I think earned its way into mainstream doing things its own way, rather than starting there by doing things the mainstream way. |
