| Good classes get high soaks and attacks at second tier - they just can't use them as they want to. Evil/Neutral classes generally soak less, but they can act as freely as they want to. Levelling up for good characters can be pretty quick if you heal your way up, so I understand. It balances really nicely in the end. |

Well you have to shoot evil clases like pariahs and stuff.
Which isn't typically a good idea I don't think. |

| In other news I've begun to settle down to craft stuff. You'll find me in either the non-faction factory or the gun store. If I see you I'll try and give you good shit - I plan to be a walking factory of good weapons and potions later on in the game, when we have a stronghold. |

I finally got my account working again. Still level 1, going for neutral and the library I had found it locked up now, so EXP is slow going.
Which is the faction I was supposed to be joining? I'm still a bit confused over that. |

Some little things you all may or may not have picked up on
-Search chance goes way up when the sun is out and the lights are on.
-The difference in the chance to hit of HtH/Melee vs that of ranged attacks is actually larger than the numbers suggest. Certain skills like dodge, as well as the defense bonus granted by the HtH tree do not apply to guns and bows.
-You can bank 40 CPs going into tier 2 (70 going into tier 3). What this basically means is that it's possible to purchase 2 new class skills right off the bat if you manage your points right.
-A large and dangerous portion of the population pretty much ignores everyone under level 10. Hitting that threshold is going to mean a sudden jump in the number of people actively looking to kill you. If you plan to be out and about in the world, now might be a good time to start taking note of low traffic areas (e.g. south/west marshall, western marquez island, much of purgatorio, etc) because death becomes increasingly annoying. |

Finally pushed my alignment back to neutral with first aid kits.
Gonna see if I can make my way back to the temp base for safety.
Chances are I'll be dead again before tomorrow though. |

Anyone still plugging away? If so, this may or may not be of marginal interest with regards to what the future holds. I've just hit tier 2 with a kills to deaths ratio of about 4:1. This was done with a minimal amount of strategy, mostly just choosing apartments that weren't right next to resource buildings to sleep in and punching everyone I encountered who wasn't wearing armor in the face. From previous experience with strongholdless wandering, I'm setting the over-under for that ratio falling to 1:1 at lucky level 13. The lack of moral restrictions might bump that up, but the fact that I only have pure HtH to rely on probably knocks it right back down.
speaking of strongholdless wanderers
Fun fact: Eternal Soldiers are the only tier 3s that have no means with which to cross the death chains in Purgatorio safely! |

NEWSFLASH: I just got a homie involved in the faction and we have a stronghold at 35,67. Take a boat to get there. I just became capable of infusion, so I'm going to sacrifice the next few weeks to infusing us a patch of land rather than levelling.
I have some plans for this faction, so hopefully shit will get interesting soon. |
