I would like to see Touko from Kara no Kyoukai as a fighter. She'd use her puppets to attack and have an alternate color where her hair is blue. _________________

A stream of the full retail version of MvC3 just ended. Two guys who allegedly had the boxed disc went through every single character's moveset in training mode. (Obviously, no Shuma/Jill yet.)
There were some interesting Level 3 hypers. Doom now has a bitchin' electrocution chamber, and Dormammu plucks out souls. She-Hulk catches a speeding car and flings it over her head; someone tell me what this is a reference to. |

The best description of Doom's L3 was something along the lines of "He sits in his pimp chair, raises his pimp hand and you die a bitches death"
Anyway, first Combo video doods. Wait till the end for a surprise
I cant wait. Seriously I want to buy like five copies of this.
Also, that Lupinko dude is now leaking Mortal Kombat infos if you can be bothered to check his twitter. _________________

Don't think this kind of talk is cool tbh
Those are probably the first combos to ever really impress me. The 3D helps I think. Hrrrrm. |

Looks like three guys and one girl so far? Or the tall dude is actually hell of androgynous.
Either way he looks pretty badass. Carmine Jedah-spinner is also pretty sweet, I agree!

Only thing that springs to mind is that Akiko in Eternal Fighter Zero had some car slinging moves. |

About Under Night: am I the only one who thinks it's aesthetic style feels a little too much like Melty Blood? The logo, the HUD, and the color tones of the backgrounds; it just doesn't have as unique an identity as I was hoping for, I guess. I will still look forward to it, because I enjoy FrenchBread's stuff.

Marvel needs its own Dickwolfgate.
Come to think of it, have there ever been any female players at big events like Evo? I'm gonna guess no. Of course, this is hardly exclusive to one genre of vidcons! |

There certainly have been. And I'm not even just talking about embarrassing-for-all efforts like the Women's Invitational at Evo a while back. It shouldn't take a lot of imagination to see why they're not a particularly VISIBLE part of the scene, mind. _________________

I was watching the Under Night trailer again, since somebody posted an HD version, and it looks like they might be trading air-dashes for hyper hop. I'm interested in this. _________________

You can actually see an airdash during the Carmine demonstration, immediately after the spinner. Don't really know what that means or what the restrictions on it are, though.
On a side note, a cast image has been on their blog since July. |

Oh, I guess it kinda looks like an airdash right as it fades to white. Seems odd that it'd be the only one in the trailer, though. Maybe it's some kind of command move or specific to Carmine? Oh hell I'm trying to theory fight a 90 second trailer, never mind _________________

I was really hoping this would be the case too. Melty Blood started out an April Fools joke like this too, if I recall correctly.
WAIT, I JUST FIGURED OUT who they would add to the Melty Blood update: young Aoko from Witch on Holy Night. It'd make sense considering the release date would coincide with the patch.

And it would fit with French-Bread's policy of adding at least one alternate version of every single female character in the game, now that they're adding Order Ciel.

Isn't Kohaku missing an alternate form too? It'd be kind of annoying if they added Magical Amber as a full, extra character though.
I want to see a dead Sacchin as an alt. _________________

Akiha probably stole Kohaku's alt spot with her third costume & moveset.

I didn't mind because school girl Akiha is good. Plus her "kicking only" style is totally hot, much like the side story where the outfit originates from.
Maybe the new character will be a fourth Akiha except her bad ending where she's a braindead cripple who feeds off Shiki's shoulder. _________________

i think schoolgirl akiha has some interesting moves spread throughout her moon styles, i'm just annoyed that they elected to save all the strongly experimental stuff for a third variant of the character rather than, say, giving those moves to akiha classic and akiha code red. even in actress again, the two characters didn't really play all THAT differently, and with the whole moon styles thing it really makes it seem kinda silly to have nine "styles" for a single character, you know?
i hate every single person who is already playing marvel because i don't have a 360 that can play pirated copies and capcom won't just fucking let stores break street _________________

If it's any consolation, no one can play online or download Shuma/Jill yet.
Was that giant Apocalypse Akiha ever actually in a MB game, or just someone's mugen thing? |

anyone down for some team building mvc3 theory fighter?
my plan is take 2/3 of ammy/arthur/morrigan (depending on who's better/has better assists) as my keepaway component and either shulk or thor for poking and fighting. _________________

Ammy's projectile assist looks stupid good, not to mention her just about everything else. I'm kind of (really) skeptical about Arthur for various reasons. Morrigan's assists are her slow fireball, dragon punch and super meter gain, right? Depending on how good her dragon punch assist is, it might be good to have around if you lose your point and have to use Ammy. If you haven't, you might want to look at Doom's rock assist for clearing out some space for Thor or Shulk to get in.
I really want to try to work in Chris, Biocom and MODOK while possibly exchanging Biocom with Skrull. I really like Chris' zoning with what looks to be some pretty good normals. I love MODOK's floating mine and barrier assists and I've always like long distance command grabs so Skrull -and to a lesser extent- Biocom appeal to me. (<3 Necro) _________________
