Ok, I laughed pretty hard there.
A+++ would read again.
So I just picked this game up, and I'm still trying to wrap my brain around it.
I have no idea how to deal with wake-ups at all yet, but I'm really enjoying the fact that each character is completely different. _________________ Man, I'm sorry. |

It's a status thing as Deets said, but it only applies to the online portion.
So the levels are supposed to mark amounts of experience the player has with the game - higher leveled players are supposed to have a better understanding of the game than one's of lower ranks.
In practice these ranking systems rarely work out correctly, especially in fighters, but you can still use them to judge player skill to a point. _________________ Man, I'm sorry. |

| Drem, have you ever seen a comic book from this decade? They sell artwork better than BlazBlue for 3 or 4 bucks a pop. There's no excuse. |

What I find annoying (besides the UNLOCK MOVES!) in the Story mode though is that every loss, win, distortion finish is a few ticks on the completion meter. A nice way to lengthen the replay value, but the "save, lose, reload, win" cycle gets tiring after a while. |
The different endings are the only things required - the game will give 100% for a character if you just see the endings. _________________ Man, I'm sorry. |

firenze has raised some alarming points about this new KOF, Terry not being able to buster wolf is pretty much a "fuck this game" for me. I won't be purchasing this until I can get some more reports on the overall gameplay.
And for the record, I prefer 3rd strike's complexity over Super Turbo's simplicity. I'm still on the fence about SF4 despite logging enough time with it, mostly because it still hasn't clicked with me. _________________ Man, I'm sorry. |

Fuck, I am terrible at BlazBlue.
I love it though!
The netcode is for sure a step up from SF4. _________________ Man, I'm sorry. |

I'm still balls terrible, but I really dig chun's kikosho, the chip dmg on it is amazing. Juri is pretty fun too. Everything feels a little bit more focused, definately a step up over vanilla. _________________ Man, I'm sorry. |
