Having previously enjoyed Hokuto No Ken (Arc-Sys) to the point of madness, is Sengoku Basara X worth a shot? _________________ No sir! |

I always though Onslaught's second form was pretty nasty. Over and over would I hear my Dreamcast telling me "your dream is dead". _________________ No sir! |

Fooled around with Makoto (the non-furry one) for most of the day having an excellent time zoning the shoto-clones with the grab-choke-super combo (suckers). Need to learn to blend in her nifty hand chop more. _________________ No sir! |

Nice pointers my man.
She may not be the most combo-tastic contender in my hands, but I like to use her in the same way as I do Guile, which is mostly defensive. I mean, you don't often get the chance to replay the same players when they interrupt your game, and having gone from a D+ to a D and again D+ you really have to be on your guard when you have C+ Akumas throwing 15-hitters willy-nilly.
I suppose I should just relax like Lakason; the glory is in the winning, not by how many arbitrary digits one can earn.
Also, what became of the friendly matches anyway? My hardrive is a little corrupted (somehow) and can't fully load the new championship content properly. What else is there other than ranked/tournament/winner-stays-on/team battle? _________________ No sir! |

I've been settling in to start playing Makoto. |
As somone who's been maining her for only a couple of days I've seen my grade rise from a D to C (discounting what I said earlier about online glory) against a wave of Akumas/Kens/Ryus, so I can only advise you to hang in there kid.
Make a note of the suggestions made by ID. Other tips that have worked for me are standing HP/crouching HK for anti-air (works more often than not, trust me) and forward MK for a zippy lead-in attack for the odd ground-based stalemate. Charging the Hayate is risky as Hell, but works if done sparingly (because why...right?), and if you manage the up-punch (DON'T EVER USE ON WAKE-UP) follow up with a quick jump towards and HP (catches them nicely). Crouching MP is your new God.
My most difficult fights so far have been with Guile, even though I know him intimately (not THAT intimately), he seems to casually win the zoning war. Good luck with that.
Also, crank the difficulty and give the CPU a bash in arcade mode, the competition seems a lot more intelligent than the last SFIV (and most other fighters for that matter). _________________ No sir! |

Actually, yeah, T Hawk is pretty nasty for this, but in general it's not so bad. _________________ No sir! |

I did it by accident at first, but yeah, it works perfectly for me. |

Show me a Tekken character that isn't a cyborg ninja or some kind of marsupial with boxing gloves, and I'll show you my lack of amusement.
Haven't Tekken characters always been a bit lacking? Wasn't that why we needed CGI cutscenes to excite us? _________________ No sir! |

I'll never understand why Capcom went only half-way in reviving its wealth of characters for MvC2, and it still rankles me that they couldn't be bothered giving us Arthur, Lou (3 Wonders) or any of the other oddities used as novelty assists in the first game. And it plays a Hell of a lot better than the other versus games before it. _________________ No sir! |

Can't disagree with the logic there, and I'd like to cross my fingers and hope for a Super Joe that handles like Omega Red.
Imagine a Garcian Smith that morphs into Killer 7. But they wouldn't dare! _________________ No sir! |

Check the silhouette at 2:01 in the last trailer. Doesn't look like Hulk to me, what with those arm bits.
But Apocalypse maybe? _________________ No sir! |

But then an odd choice if any, considering that her last game was MVC2 (about 10 years ago). How does this fit inside the supposed 'popularity/contemporary' character policy? Was she hot shit or something? _________________ No sir! |

The two of you seem to have both the image of the bombs and dodging cues rolled into one. Even I had to think about that twice!
A popular delusion then. _________________ No sir! |

Forgive my obvious nit-pickery, but what is the deal with the female counterparts in MVC3? Can we expect more of the likes of Mrs Dante and Mrs Wolverine? _________________ No sir! |

That is just lazy, although considering that X-23 is "a female version of Wolverine" the trend had already been set. _________________ No sir! |

Being able to blend hurricane kick into shinkuu hadoken makes him powerful enough. Just toss in auto-aim air shinkuu hadoken to cap off a safe air-combo for the ultimate bullshit salad.
Do it bleak.
After seeing Skeletor announced, I'm actually quite miffed that the Capcom line-up doesn't have enough mouthy/chaotic oddballs/FREE GENE. _________________ No sir! |

I am GMT, but I'll give as good as i'll get (more often than not)!
Invites later X360 owners. Get ready to increase your winning streaks...because I too am terrible at said fighting game. Never had problems with the ones before it though, and I guess it's something to do before the hype machine arrives for real in about a fortnight or so. Give me MSH or the first MvC for a challenge proper, as I have both games deep beneath my skin. But whatever. _________________ No sir! |

I too miss his towel-drying taunts and kitana-from-nowhere end poses. It's pretty surprising he made the Capcom lineup at all, considering how Cyberbots wasn't really that popular to begin with, and is never mentioned in the context of Capcom's fighters in general.
Captain Commando needs more push as the 'estranged' Capcom mascot, and his FUCKING TEAM (well, that's how I always heard his super announced anyways).
The Team Kaos streams are of good quality (viewing-wise) if one-sided (in terms of ability) and repetitive (same teams). I think I'm at the stage where just watching others play isn't satisfying enough for me, and Friday's a long way away yet it seems. _________________ No sir! |
