I like the Ghibli-esque look of the enemies.

God, I love the grappling hook. I wish you could do more stuff with it. Like I wish you could swing, release and then re-grapple in mid-air, Bionic Commando style. While shooting!

I agree that the bosses can bring down your impression of the game. There's a fine line between beating the boss really quickly, or dying really slowly as you make futile attempts to do damage. If you don't have a good enough weapon (or you're not in a VS) you might experience the latter.

It's weird. I always do either really well or really badly when fighting the bosses.
