I made it through the first chapter. Am I ever going to do anything more than just advance text (slowly) or can I safely quit playing without feeling like I missed anything?

Thanks, Rucio. Good to know. I've got some better books to read in which the text advances as quickly as I could wish.

Psssh, in choose your own adventure books you just hop back to the last page you were at.
Honestly though, if this were a book, you guys wouldn't give two shits about it right?
