GI Joe The Arcade is... it's the dream we all dream of. Man vs machine in a world constructed entirely of scaled 2D sprites. I like to think of Mystic Warriors as a sequel of sorts to Sunset Riders - there's quite the crossover in aesthetics and intent here, I feel. This game has a pretty good flip kick - the flip kick of my neanderthal John Rambo-wannabe dreams, just perfect for taking out sinister floating spy drones. Why did the enemy arm their entire ground force with knives? Is it a Communism thing? I remember the music being better on Mega Drive, a driving John Carpenter-style theme. Thunderfox transcends it's banal visuals to being a very fun distraction of flip-kicking macho roleplay. Oil me up, Soldier!

I can never remember the name of the damn game but it's fantastic. It's about two rabbit teams that try to kill the other team while keeping your team member alive at the same time. It's fantastic. It's japanese only which is why I can't remember the name.

Actually, it's OK to talk about them, but not to post links to them/request torrents. Furthermore, the full MAME ROM set contains many games you could play on a number of current systems, as well as Xbox Live Arcade!

Chimera Beast is a must play.
It's basically an arcade version of that old Shark! Shark! for Intellivison.
You are an "Eater" and it's basically you vs an entire ecosystem. You start out feasting on microorganisms, move up to fish, birds, and up the food chain in that fashion. You shoot out your mandibles to the oncoming prey and chow them down as they return to your mouth. Eat enough and your body levels up! Fat delicious pixels, bloody details. It's pretty damn great.
