Yeah man, Robot Carnival really was THE SHIT. I actually remember the name, crazily enough.
I wonder how many kids got their first exposure to Japanese whatnots through the Sci-Fi Channel Saturday Anime?
Edit: Wait - anyone remember the one where there were a few people on a spaceship going to seed a world somewhere? And some weird virus or alien or something is trying to take over the ship, and at the end the cute young couple leave on an ancient space shuttle while the captain opens up the hydrogen tanks and flicks on his lighter and blows the whole thing to smithereens? But OH NO THE ALIEN IS ON THE SHUTTLE TOO, dun dun dunnnn.
I think there was a cat in it?
