Sony was really drab and brown. Resistance looked like a N64 game, LBP looks fun. But it was kinda same old same old. Valkyrie Chronicles, Loco Roco 2 and Patapon 2 on the PSP look interesting. But that's it.

Press conferences were lame this year. Everyone had a few cool things. The only bomb was FFXIII 360.

E3 makes me wonder what the movie industry would be like if the most important films of the year were, like, Twelve Angry Men Legends: Juror Six Goes to the Supermarket (takes place fifty years after the original!).

I can rent Blu-rays for $4.99 at Blockbuster down the street. Hell, I paid $21 a month for unlimited rentals, one at a time (all games, blu-ray, DVDs). Why would I pay $6 and wait an hour to download just to get the experience through the PSN?

I could only see this being convenient for quickly downloading a couple movies to watch on PSP while I go on a vacation. Sometimes I don't want to fiddle with ripping and encoding a DVD, ya know.

But anyway... Wii Music - lowlight of the show amirite?

All the e3 trailers are so epic, large and grandiose in their presentation. As if these games have to be presented (sold) to us like a Lord of the Rings movie. It seems unnecessary and it makes them all look the same.

This been posted yet? I was deeply wary that they couldn't bring over the tactile feel of hitting buttons that was basically the whole appeal of Rhythm Tengoku, but damn the touchscreen stuff feels right just from watching it.

The Prince of Persia trailer keeps pulling me in opposite directions. The trailer itself is great. I love the mood (lol Ico), but the actual gameplay stuff didn't look that great, and all the ridiculous team up stuff was...ridiculous.

To wrap up, I am looking forward to:

Left 4 Dead

Street Fighter 4

...maybe Prince of Persia?

None of these games are new.

I dunno, I think that Infamous (or inFAMOUS or whatever the fuck they're calling it) looks pretty good, especially considering the studio's last games were the pretty bland Sly Cooper games.

EDIT: Hahaha what the fuck I thought they were gonna wind up making something horrific for Tecmo Bowl, but that video looks awesome. A fucking rock band starts playing when you kick a field goal!
