Seriously - how utterly Oblivion-era Bethesda is that Fallout 3 footage? Pretty texture maps. Terrible 3D models. Weightless combat. It's shaping up exactly as I feared it would. Will it, like Oblivion, be sort-of-maybe fixed by fan efforts after two or three years? I hope so.

Are you kidding, Bethesda would never admit its own staggering incompetence in such a manner. You'll have to wait for the inevitable script editor and erstwhile Fallout fanatics to get their hands on it. Luckily there doesn't seem to be any shortage of those.
One more reason to get it on the PC.

Maz maybe we should just gchat more and I should stop posting altogether. Clearly the VATS thing is a bone thrown to old-school "Fallout fans" who foamed at the mouth because the game didn't have hexes any more, or whatever. Certainly a needless layer of abstraction; then again, the combat looks so greasy and muddy maybe it'll be a fun way to mix it up sometimes.
Okay, so I forgot about Mirror's Edge, that game looks razor-sharp. Cannot wait.
It's about time for me to buy MGS4.

Thoughts on FF13:
People who play Final Fantasy are still paid for by their parents.
They were only bought one, only one, are you sure this is the one you want? Because I'm not getting you another one, console.
Now their horse no longer has the only exclusive they wanted it for, and everyone else in high school is playing Halo 3 on Live.
Sour grapes.
