Just got linked to this thread which is supposely for porn games.

The best porn game I ever played was a porn version of Qix (not hentai, real porn). It played much better than the original and Qix just fits perfectly for revealing pictures. Can't remember its title anymore, though.

Otherwise I only know some dating sims which were pretty good and some shoot 'em ups.

Also, dating sims in Japanese kinda ruin their purpose. If I just wanna see hot pictures there are easier ways...

Honestly, erotic and game doesn't fit really well together for me. It's better if I can use both hands for masturbation. You guys probably don't masturbate when playin those games, but then... why play erotic games to begin with?

Okay I see, you like those games because they make you think about sex and related topics. But playing them for masturbation is a bad thing, eh?

Does anyone know Knights of Xentar? That RPG was really fun and it wouldn't so fun if it was not erotic (many good sex-jokes). Though I admit some parts of the age 16+ softcore version (which is still really erotic, just a bit censored, partly you see girls in ripped clothes that don't reveal the vag or breasts) are sometimes better than the ones in the adult version.

Also, Variable Geo games have a much better gameplay than most beat 'em ups imo (I only played Advanced V.G.2, though).


Although it's kinda of weird to like the virtual girls of visual novels more than the real girls, it really makes sense. I mean those virtual girls have personalities especially designed to be enjoyable by males. They are what males really want and can't get in real life to begin with. I mean I guess it's wrong to say "real life girls all have a sucky personality", because I guess there are probably exceptions. They are just harder to find. It's easier to buy a hentai / visual novel / dating sim / whatever and directly find a virtual girl that totally fascinated you and has a lovable personality than going out talking with 500+ girls just to find a single girl that behaves as uncommon as you seek.
Though I guess the real problem is that the virtual girls can't became reality so you're kinda stuck with something similar to a pure internet relationship. I guess you could also argue that real girls have 'unlimited new content' while virtual girls are limited where at some point you know all their possible sentences. But then again, there are not many pure internet relationships that last longer than 3 months.

So what about we leave out those hentai games with actually good gameplay / story where you might as well could remove the hentai, and think about hentai cames that can really make you horny and are really good to play for masturbation. For example I'm thinking of those heavily animated flashs where there's a girl and you can do with her anything you want (the good ones). In my opinion, they are a lot better for masturbation than let's say hentai / porn videos / pictures / figures. They are more like masturbation by using your phantasy. You can actually interact and make your own story that you enjoy. Compared to real sex? Well guess real sex more intimate and you can feel more, but real sex is a lot harder to get (not always available, I mean even if you have a girlfriend she probably doesn't want sex whenever you want) plus when having real sex you can't do whatever you like (all sex partners always have some kind of border they don't cross, I mean hell aren't there lots of girls that don't even let you put items inside of them? or that let you watch masturbating?).
So even if you only regard the 'erotic' aspect of those games they still have clear advantages over real sex or videos (not absolutely, but in certain situations they can be best).

Plus, I know it's partly escapism and you guys hate that, but still most dating sims offer girls that don't exist in real life (or at least you'll hardly meet one even if you are not an escapist). So this is another thing those games offer that you can't have in real life.

Well you see.
If you just want to play a good game -> get a 'mainstream' game
If you just want to look at naked chicks -> get porn pictures
If you want to interact with naked chicks virtually -> get a eroge game
Each serves its purpose. You can't just split "eroge game" in its both parts "normal game" and "erotic pictures" and then say it would actually lead to the same result, because it doesn't.
