No. But people like you with money are the reason High End graphics cards that cost more than a PS3 are viable for a production run. |

OH FUCK YES |
internisus I demand an explanation as to why this is so frothworthy |
1) It's great for Steam when it gets high-profile titles
2) I haven't played Crysis yet (though I'll probably get it elsewhere for cheaper eventually)
3) I have been wanting to play The Witcher for many months and looking forward to this improved version. No one has had any idea when it was to come out--and suddenly it's out in a few days. |

| Apparently, according to a comment on their article explaining the changes Sony made, they were only made to the course(s?) in Zone mode. But yeah, the preview backgrounds looked cool, too. (Maybe they'll be optional, with big audio and visual warning signs that go off when selected?) Thanks for that though, it's nice to see what was changed. |

i kindof prefer the new one, the subtle kick effects give it more of an equaliser feel than literally just painting equalisers all over the track. but it would've been nice to have the option i guess! _________________

I also like the new one a lot better, but because it's so clean. The old looks too crowded and even 'gritty'. _________________ The Ants Parade. |

It would be pretty nifty if they had something like a code to unlock the epilepsy version. Not a standard option, cause then people could just get into it on accident and have a seizure and die. But a code that you have to go seek out. With a warning screen - play at your own risk. Yeah.
(Yes, I know that's a huge legal liability and it would never happen. Not saying I wouldn't like it though.) |

antialiasing is probably more important to me than anything. i like limited 3d as much or more than the next guy, of course, but throwing all those fancy gloopy effects on there yet still having jaggies is just vomitotious and can even highlight the jaggies. mario galaxy had a big problem with this.
(cel shading without the borders ala no more heroes/smt:n/wind waker is one fancy effect that works without aa, since it isn't trying to make polygons look like a real material and harkens back to the flat shaded games of yore) |

Mario Galaxy literally gives me a headache when I play it, and I think this is the reason.
Also, I've seen a few comments about low poly 3D having a certain nostalgic charm lately. It makes me feel old. Low poly 3D is the newfangled ugly abomination that killed our lovely 2D sprites. I gotta go now, I need to yell at those kids to get off my lawn. |

To dess' attention: Kieron Gillen wanks overs Mighty Jill Off.
The best par thought is Lauren McCubbin's description of it as “Disney’s The Story of O, with like, singing birds and shit”. _________________

Mess with the best, die like the rest.
What is the deal with the Wipeout-esque game in that movie anyway? Is it an early version that Psygnosis licensed to the movie, or did Psygnosis rip off the idea from the movie, or what? _________________ Let's Play, starring me. |

Holy shit, how did I miss this? announced alongside PZ0 and Shining Force Feather...
"At a press event in Tokyo today, Sega revealed a previously unannounced RPG. The mysterious game is directed by Kazuya Niinou, the creative mind behind the Sekaiju no Meikyuu (Etrian Odyssey) series, who has recently left his former employer Atlus. Sega veteran Rieko Kodama is producing the game, while Yuzo Koshiro is composing the soundtrack. The teaser site, which can be accessed by following the link provided below, offers few hints on what to expect from the game. In addition to the declaration "we are making RPG now", the only hint offered by the teaser site's URL and what looks to be the game's logo is the reference to dragons."
Site here. When you wait through the staff promo, and click the flower, the music turns 8-bit. Very strange!
The real notable name among there is, to me, Kodama - Wikipedia has a...strange article on her, in terms of how it talks about the probjects that failed under her as Producer. But she's been with Sega a very long time, and Skies of Arcadia, and etcetera. _________________

| The prospect of a good Koshiro soundtrack always interests me. The whole 8/16-bit thing in particular has me pretty intrigued. RPGs however don't interest me much, so I can't say I care all that much about the game itself... but as an old Sega fan naturally I'm hoping that it turns out well. |

| Yeah, I recall reading that it was basically a beta version of Wipeout for a little corporate tie in that wasn't well enough explained in the movie to actually count as corporate tie in. |

Koshiro's been on a retro binge lately. Find the Etrian Odyssey II OST, if you can. Half the soundtrack is the music from the DS game, and the other half is the same soundtrack as it would have sounded on an FM Towns (though, honestly, the two don't sound much different). |

I'm really hoping the subtitle "Bloodline Rebellion" is a playful hint that the console port won't be PS exclusive. |
