It's going to be a while before we see a port either way, an update means a new arcade launch, which means another period of exclusivity for arcade operators. Good of Namco to fix the game up though. |

The fact that it's subtitled DEATH PARADE is the real news, here. |

I wouldn't be too surprised to see vanilla Tekken 6 on PS3, then Bloodline Rebellion as a $20-ish download add-on some time 6-12 months later.
And I wouldn't count on it not being PS3 exclusive, considering the game runs on what's essentially PS3 hardware in the arcade. As does the newly announced Namco light gun shooter Razing Storm (which is just begging for a PS3 GunCon3 compatible port). Note: this game not about Geese Howard's pretzel super. And not about cult favorite shooter dev Raizing, despite my instinctive typo ;P.

Someone needs to smack Crente in the face for the original post. Particularly after he went and threw his toys out of the pram when Cheap Ass Gamer posted the bogey rumor intentionally and he believed it(And promptly took a shitfit when it was revealed to be a fake) . _________________

Razing Storm looks like a sequel to Crisis Zone. I'll buy the ps3 port if they make one. |

The first 50 cent game made an embarrassingly large amount of money. So it makes sense that they wouldn't shelve a sequel so readily. But is fiddy as popular as he was 2-ish years ago? Perhaps it should be Soulja Boy: Tell em Blood was on the sand, or Usher: Let it burn on the sand or sumsuch. _________________

i dunno, i think it works best with a ridiculous OTT macho dude whose star is fading a bit. usher isn't nearly hardcore enough for rough justice in the middle east. _________________

Looks like a mix between the modern GTAs and the old top-down view.
Also, blown up scans of a 3D DS title look bad, film at 11. |

Not getting my hopes up until I see some video of the game in action.

These actually don't look so bad! As long as the car handling physics aren't too weird and the shooting isn't crappy then I think this might turn out alright. _________________

Wow, those look about ten or twenty times better. Now I'm looking forward to video footage!
Interesting to see those other touchscreen usages....one seems to be using a screwdriver to...well, hotwire a car, maybe? Then there's a transh bin you can pull stuff out of, it seems, and some kind of tattoo drawing. Curious! _________________

Duke Nukem 3D is coming out on XBLA in two days, it'll be ten bucks. Contains the original 39 levels plus a couple new features like 8 player online co-op and the ability to rewind time when you die. Also online multiplayer and stuff. _________________

Judging from the trailer the "ability to rewind time" means "your progress is recorded like many other games record demos, except we'll allow you to pick up and continue playing from any time within that demo." |

I don't see an "incredibly awesome advertisement design" thread and I don't feel like making one, so I'll just put this here.
Best use of Youtube yet.
EDIT: Oh man, you can totally drag the site elements around after it's over. |

So that is what the new Golden Axe has become huh? So much for Sega Blue.
I picked up and played Kirby SuperStar Ultra remix/remake/rehash and so far it is exactly what I expected: a copy of the original game rendered in the new gba Kirby engine, ala Kirby's Adventure->Kirby Nightmare in Dreamland. This is both good (mostly fantastic sprites+animations) and bad (washed out backgrounds, itty bitt scale compared to the originals, grainy music with strange choice in instruments, wonky physics engine, fugly King Dedede sprite). What really irks me though is that they replaced all the arcade-like sprite intros to the games with these stupid fmvs that totally miss the impact of the originals.
I think that Hal labs should just give the Kirby franchise to Treasure or Inafune or somebody who just gets how to make a solid action-platformer and tell them to do something interesting with it. Sadly this will never happen but a man can dream. |

Tyris Flare more like Tyris Flares. what is up with the clothing???
One wonders at this point how a company can be so moronic to hire some no-name dipshits to slave away for years on this game while they own Creative Assembly, a studio with one amazing action game under its belt and a next-gen engine ready to go and unused. Sega you are so precious. |

Maybe, but first I want to see that 4-player Kirby game completed. _________________
