This the Wii version or PS3/X360? I am kinda curious if they are different in any way as I know nothing about it aside from the cover art.

Played some SF4. Yum. Still don't like the emphasis on split-second techniques that are just a pain to do.

Gotta get a stick. Gotta get SF4.

all you really need to learn is light shoryuken--->>ULTRA. You'll win half your matches, no sweat.

Or pick Sagat. You're always 2 combos away from victory with him. Always.

Yeah, I was watching some Sagat matches online. The things that guy can do with some meter...sick. Tiger Knee is fucking hilarious man; so safe, and so combo-able.

I really hate that tiger knee, yeah. from a dash you can cancel into a tiger knee and cover nearly the entire screen.

As a fuerte/dhalsim player this causes all sorts of headaches. one missed splash/stretchy fierce at the wrong time and i eat effortless 50% damage.

That Wii VC Space Harrier, it a good port? I saw it, but wondered if it was really arcade quality or if it was one of the console ports.

I would need Rud13 to verify this

if i remember correctly, act 2 became impossible for a necro (on hell) because so many things gain immunity to "magic" and "physical". i always had played a bone spell necro thus i became next to useless. my mercenary was totally useless as it only attacked with a spear. that was the last time i played the game before i let my battle.net account expire.

non-elemental spells counted as "magic". this really killed the bone spell tree. it also made my corpse explosions not effective since it was only working at half damage. the skill did 50/50 damage physical/fire element. this did not include any fire resistance that those act 2 monsters most definitely also had to negate about 85% of the total damage of even that. of course as a necro, i also did not have an element enchanted weapon to get around that limit. even if i did, my dexterity was so low i would never land a hit.

maybe this was meant to encourage "party play" or something, but i was teamed up with a bear-druid, and a sorc whose only lit spell was a low level "static field", but mainly focused on fire. it's doable if you plan for it beforehand, but we were winging it just fine until we hit that wall in act 2.

Played more Blazblue. Learned that pretty much everybody but Jin and Taokaka are too fiddly for me.

i want to use the stick-tossing girl with glasses, but damn if her combos are difficult to land unless your timing is excellent (ridiculous juggling timings) same reason i am held back with carl.

taokaka does seem to work well with my style though. should learn arakune since he seems kinds easy to play with. curse-->bees-->win

Since I have finished "The World Ends With You" (everyone should play this, btw). I secretly hope it never gets a sequel. How low a run did anyone else make it through this? because the last boss deals stupid damage I had to pump my level to 48 to actually survive it. Anyway, I am sort of lost in looking for another game to play.

I have now turned back into FFIV DS. Sitting at the Sealed Cave where I always seem to just up and stop whenever I play through this game. Oh yeah, I remembered why I stopped there acually. For whatever reason Magic in this game is very strong when cast by enemies. I was backattacked by a pair of Chimera and they immediately "Blaze" my team. It takes 2 casts to kill any char. except Kain somehow he has a chance to survive this opening attack usually. Find it kinda ridiculous that a mere cave bat has 7000HP.

My team is at around level 55. I don't think I even get that high on playing the regular super famicom version. I could finish that game at 40. These enemies must be really beefed. I'm sure the Squeenix knew this because Rydia doesn't know Nuke and Rose doesn't have Holy at this high a level.

I did learn though that those bloody TrapDoors can have their Instant KO attack reflected! This was always my biggest worry going in. Was this possible on the regular version? I don't believe it was reflectable....

Oh I have gone through some of the post-game. I spent the entire game on Hard Mode and cruised on Level 1 until about the 4th day in the 3rd scenario. I just couldn't keep up with the big damage dragons were dealing out by then and had to bump the levels up bit by bit. I have collected the sekret reports for the 1st scenario, but I need a break from the game for a little while. Besides, I already maxxed out my levels. I just coast on low because I enjoy the big rewards and evolving my mad collection of badges.

I kinda want to reach at least as far as unlocking Ultimate difficulty. Still scavenging for sekrets. But yeah I'm at 50ish hours. For whatever reason, fighting enemies never felt like grinding. Guess running at low levels always presented a rush of danger for those extra rewards.

I will buy this to make up for Moogs dislike of this game. I don't have any multi-player co-op games available after conquering Monster Hunter.

It took me picking Fuerte and learning to crush everyone with RSF (3 hits, poo) and Splash Mountain shenanigans. Took me another month to learn how to actually use the Focus attack. Then it took 500 matches and having my Xbox Live Feedback go from a sterling 99% positive to 49% positive. Nobody likes to lose T_T

I will go to Season's Beatings IV in October so I can get crushed by fightman prostars.

I have also once again returned to PacMan CE. I am nearing my goal of 350k in 5 minute mode. Then go for a glorious 400k.

This is probably the reason I have invested most of my time to the new characters in this game. Particularly Rufus and Fuerte. No nostalgia effect here.

I recently got around to playing Romancing SaGA (PS2) finally. I have been playing for 5 and a half hours and I've only completed 3 quests. I've failed one too, because I decided to do it later but now it's listed as Failed (I guess it was time sensitive?). I am playing this wrong?

No. Just enjoy the ride. The world does not revolve around you here. Shit happens and we move on.

i'm starting to play skreet fyter fo again now that school is over and it's 15 degrees outside. the competition has gone downhill quite a bit. everyone must've left for other pastures on Xbox Live. though as someone who plays as Fuerte i still lose my matches thanks to internet + random uppercuts--> easy ultras. other than that i play pac-man CE. i only do the 5 minute mode, my current best score is 425k. i've not been able to beat that for the past couple weeks. anyone else still play this?

Just beat Contra and Castlevania 2

I seriously wonder if anyone has actually beaten Simon's Quest without some sort of assistance or walkthrough.

I suppose it was intended to be one of those "communal challenges" like the original Tower of Druaga, though.

I sure didn't. Even though I used a guide, I still got one of the bad endings.

i always get the bad ending. it made sense (as a kid) as to why a new belmont was in every castlevania (back then). fight dracula, get bloodied up, suffer for the benefit of all mankind (like jesus). if it wasn't for youtube i would never know there were other endings.
