i have this game too.
i like it a lot, even though i suck at it.
it was my very first ps2 game.
i had this game before i even had a ps2.
this is true.

it's the US version though, and my ps2 is japanese.
so i only get to play it on the chipped ps2 of a friend of mine.

i believe this saw a budget port/remake/whatever for psp as "xi collosseum" in japan.
