Says the new Nintendo Power is reporting Super Paper Mario for an April release on Wii.
If that's true, looks like maybe that's when I buy my Wii. I honestly can't justify it now when the games I'm most excited about are TG-16 emulations (Super Star Soldier and Soldier Blade!). |

| Seems like it's a typical Nintendo system (or any system) slump. Hopefully it'll be just like the DS slump, and there'll be one hell of a resurgence and library by Fall. Thats when I'm going to get one for Mario Galaxy. |

| Firenze, I had no idea you didn't like the Wii. Please tell us more about this. |

I don't like/dislike the Wii. I just think the current games are rather crap (excluding Zelda, also available on Cube) and people jumping up and down with Wii-joy baffles me. But I'm complimenting it here! There's a game that looks good, and its release date is in sight! I'll buy the system when Paper Mario is out or is nearing release.
I'm sorry I can't share the 100% perfect vision of optimism that it seems many Nintendo fans have. If I can't make a sarcastic comment that it's about time good games started coming out, maybe you're taking things too seriously... |

Well, I dont know about you guys but I bought Excite Truck on a whim and GOD DAMN IS THAT GAME FUN.
A lot of my more recent purchases haven't been just "Hit titles" and "OMG RAVE REVIEWS" stuff. Those games actually get old. I'm enjoying my Wii collection and I love every single game in it (with maybe a little less love for red steel since it's a bit quirky). Elebits, Zelda, Excite Truck, Smooth Moves, and Wii Sports are all on the same level of enjoyment for me with soon to be Metal Slug Anthology IF SMARTBLUE WOULD EVAR GET HIS ASS OVER TO MY HOUSE (to be fair, we've had a lot of overtime this week.) |
