No. You need to solve the puzzle of "becoming tiny."

You kill the small eyes at the very end, and then you can attack the large eye. But you need the Dragon Bone to open the stairway beyond.

The "twin" of the boss room is called the Meditation Chamber. Geddit?
Now it's my turn: final boss's second form (post-Medicine of Life) - how to attack her when she's out of reach of all of Lemeza's weapons? |

If you're talking about THAT ladder, you reach that ladder from the other side, so ignore it ^_^ other than that, follow L's advice.
To L: Remember the mother is so powerful that in full power, the only one that can hurt her is herself. There're some more hints on the boss a few post back that you may want to read too. |

I killed the small eyes but nothing I hit the big eye with hurts it. Am I missing a weapon?
And uhhh, meditation... I was thinking of that... but I left my guy in there for about 1 minute and nothing happened :(. |

| You might simply not be hitting the eye, alice. You have to whack the eye directly, which is hard to do and it can seem like you're just missing, especially when the eye closes and stuff. |

Yes, a door, those that you press down to enter the room such as shops. It's hidden pretty well. For some clues, look for every "entrance" in the background. |

TOTALLY HATING THIS GAME.
I kept trying over and over again to like it, but the fifth time that I tried to get enough money to buy a fucking save point (WORST DESIGN IDEA EVAR) I got stuck in the bottom of some pit that I couldn't get out of and decided that this "parody" or "homage" or whatever of exactly the kinds of Commodore 64 games I hated as a kid was not how I wanted to be spending my time.
:# <- angry emoticon
You guys have fun with this, I'm going to be elsewhere playing and making games that aren't comprised entirely of the worst game design concepts the early 1980s had to offer. _________________

There are no places you can't get out of until the Temple of the Sun, and you shouldn't go there until you find the Grail in the first ruins area anyway, which makes getting stuck anywhere in the entire game a non-issue and lets you save on demand pretty much. In fact it may as well make death on anything but falling into water/lava and bosses something that never occurs.
On the platform left of the shop with the save point, there is a red pot. Smack it three times and 10 gold coins come out, giving you enough money to save.
The manual is your friend. |

Okay, so, I believe earlier in the thread there was some mention of a faq or a guide for this game. Is there one? Moreover, if there is, then whereabouts would I find it? I definitely don't have the time the play through this game 100% on my own with university and all, but I'm still interested in giving it some of my time. _________________ Taking a break. |

Yeah, here it is, but the problem is that it's in Japanese. Babelfished cryptic hints are only slightly more useful than what the game tells you.
There's maps in English here and a guy recording a playthrough of the game to video here. |

In the super secret world: a room where you must throw bombs through a gap to hit several enemies. How do I throw them at the correct trajectory to smite the green enemy?

You should've done something like this before: just toss the bomb in between the small gap. It's hard to get the right position (I remember I try doing a small hop before throwing the bomb; hopefully you'll have enough bombs and life for this) but you'll eventally get it.
@ alice: Next "event" to progress the game (open up new maps), iirc, is to go though the tower of ruins (you enter the map via confusion gate) and reach a boss (if you haven't done so). Beat the boss and a new map will open, which lead to several more maps. |

If you can't get there yet, don't go up! Go down. *hint* Remember to clear the monsters in every room.
ALSO: I THINK if you haven't beat the guardian in "spring in the sky" the door leading to the boss will be blocked, but I'm not very sure. |

does that mean... including the invisible enemies? I killed like 10 of them and they still seem to be there so I figured they regenerated or something. OR maybe there are just 11? Also killed every enemy in every other room I could get to which didn't do anything :(. |

Well, that's just means "I AM here" (right there at the tablet)...can't get any more clear than that, really.
You're pretty fast too, if you can get past the room before :P got a few more screen of crazy platforming still. |

Everyone will be able to get the yellow block first unless you did something weird, that's probably all I can say. Oh, and notice there're 3 colors too...so something has 3 colors and you almost always have the yellow one?
ps. have fun backtracking :P |

I finally got around to playing this game. It's very fun at first, thinking of all the things to discover, getting all excited. then the fun level starts going down...
I beat the snake boss on my own, then started skimming through the pages of this thread. Now I'm just filled with dread, that sooner or later it's going to aggravate and frustrate me to the point of giving up. |

| This game will test your patience, yes. Progress is not handed to you on a platter as with most games, but earned. It's pretty damned rewarding when you make some breakthroughs because of it, at least. |

* Many messages aren't relevant until much later.
* On the final boss, use: keyblade, then knife, then axe, then katana, then whip.
* The Grapple Claw takes awhile to get used to.
* Slay the bird, and maybe the ankh will appear.
* Note the times of day at which various giants rest.
* Two twins, two labyrinths, two Hand Scanners.
* Do not forget about the eye of the overworld.
* You need certain skulls to enter certain worlds. |

Not really... you could be doing anything.
But maybe Tower of the Goddess -> Confusion Gate, then Chamber of Birth -> Chamber of Extinction? |

| I stopped playing a while ago and have no intention of finishing, but I enjoyed what I played. The problem is that the game is just too damn long. You can only string the player along for so long before making breakthroughs against insane game-logic stops being satisfying. As far as I'm concerned, anyway. |

^Don't know what screen you're talking about dmauro...
Two ways you can go: either to tower of goddess or endless corridor (If you can't go down in endless corridor go back to confusion gate and get an item there). That's ONLY if you defected the boss in inferno cavern (big laser eye thing). I'd recommand you go endless corridor route first since you actually get clues on goddess tower route on the way. From endless corridor you can go to a few more places (if you have a certain item; some more clues for goddess tower along that way), also you can finish the twin labyrinths with an item you find in the corridor (more clues in twin labyrinths).
The game is long but not THAT long. 1st time you should be able to finish it under 15 hours; if you know where to go you should be able to finish it under 7-8 hours. And there're people speed-run it in 2-3 hours.
An advice: best thing to do to save time looking for clues is to screen-cap every tablets (alt-print screen for the window then paste in paint) so you can review the clues anytime you want. |

I think I need a bomb or something to get that open because it was closed when I went past it last time. I went back to the door and it's open now. Who knows why, but that's one of the reasons I like this game.
Also, I can't get anywhere in the endless corridor. There is some clue about releasing a dragon, but I don't know what that means. |
