I've been dumbfounded lately by really cool revelations that are both unexpected and possibly important to those around me. Catch is that because they aren't on Fark or Kotaku, many of my friends didn't know about them. Are there any more super-near obscure things to keep an eye out for?
Example 1:
New Batman animated series coming to Cartoon Network in November! 30-minutes, with Batman teaming up with other DC heroes to foil the villian(s) of the week. According to wikipedia, 26 episodes have either been contracted or completed.
Example 2:
Guilty Gear 2: Overture coming to the USA! I've been dying to play this game after reading this review once upon a time. Of course it would eventually get to the states, which has a Xbox 360 market 250 times larger than the one over there in Japan. But it's still fucking awesome, don't you all think? _________________ "Is Father's Day nine months after Mother's Day, or is it the other way around?" |

| This thread's title made me realize that "Live Under a Rock" is a perfect title for a live rock album and I am using it one day and no one else here may use it unless they pay me. |

New Fast & The Furious sequel called "Fast and Furious". Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Michelle Rodriguez, and Jordana Brewster to return and star. GOD. You'd think there were laws to prevent this kind of shit from happening, yes?
For the record, the third one wasn't as bad as the first. And I guess this is really news to anyone that didn't see the trailer attached with the insult known as Death Race. Which says a lot about cars in cinema, I guess. _________________ "Is Father's Day nine months after Mother's Day, or is it the other way around?" |
