|
|
So I'm going to be in NYC all next week and I've never been. The person I'm staying with just moved there a month ago and doesn't really know the city terribly well either. So, selectbuttoners, tell me what I should do and see.
My friend is going to be in class quite a bit, so I guess I'll be wandering around by myself during the day. Planning on finding some new clothes and seeing The Kills on the 3rd or 4th (if I can still get tickets). Other than that, I have no idea.
Umm... what else should I do?
Edit: I know I could easily find enough stuff to do for a week in a tourist guide or on the internet, but I'm sorta hoping for something not touristy. Good bars or venues, etc. |

lol @ the state of this thread
radish where are you?
there's a wonderful restaurant on 83rd and broadway called artie's if you are interested in food (i think most humans are).
the best coffee i've found here so far was at connecticut muffin on montague in bk heights (however do not stay there long because they play a confounding selection of air-headed "hits").
go to the chelsea area/10th ave if you're interested in the arts because there are like a billion galleries to peruse. stop by the max protetch gallery because i work there ^____^ (exhibition atm kinda sux tho). |
