Could one (or two or ten) of you point out some examples to me where amateur or professional artists took artwork from low-resolution games and redrew it for resolutions at least twice as large?
The immediate professional effort that comes to mind is Yggdra Union PSP, while I know about Sonic 2 HD (although I find it rather unpleasant to look at). I'm sure there are plenty examples of fighting games doing this, but I'm mainly interested in stuff about NES/GBA/etc size remade to look good in sizes like 640x480 without using special filters and stuff.
Thanks! _________________

I guess a good example is Alex Kidd in Miracle World for Sega Master System to Alex Kidd and the Enchanted Castle for the Sega Genesis/Mega Drive. _________________ Get Xenoblade Chronicles!
