George St is one of the dodgiest areas in Sydney... if i'm leaving The Metro after a gig on a weekend i'll cab or bus it to oxford st rather then walk
but around 8 or 9 it should be cool
the bottom floor is all rhythm games
there are heaps of good rail shooters too

i'm actually more into pinball then arcade games... best pinball pub in sydney right now is the Courthouse in Newtown. Galaxy World has one machine right next to the SF4 machine

like around the 27th of november or some shit (my mates are civ eng at Usyd iggy, just assuming)
i finish on the 12th of november, then straight into near full time work. the best time for me is friday night.

is the pub next to Camperdown Memorial Park and the cop shop and has frangipanis in its courtyard

Townie is next to Newtown station, has two floors, and is the place for late night drunkenness

both of them had a pretty good selection of tunes last time I was there

there's also Kellys On King, which is midway between the Courty and the Townie. awesome jukebox and fun ska/punk nights sometimes. and kareoke

Yeah 19th actually, but stuvac's next week and so is the newtown festival, just saying.
Wow it's really surprising how local everyone is! I had no idea. Falsedan you should see the urinals in the QVB if you're into that kind of thing!

worldbar. they have a whole bunch of fake books, too. Club 77 near by hase a strobe light in the leading-to-the-bathroom-room and it has a whole lot of porn all over the walls, can't remember what type tho.
Now i want to see this Shanononabercrombie. You can't really go wrong with a urinal, surely! it's basically just a wall with a drain.

Hey lads, my band has a relatively important gig at the Annandale (probably) on the 3rd of December for Jager Uprising. Some sort-of-kinda band competition, except the Annandale just pick their favourite bands from that year to come back and compete for glory that they didnt really apply for!

*phew*

Anyway, its a massive honour, and itll be our first gig in a while due to singer illness. So there should be a solid crowd there for us and we will be pumped to play. If you guys like FUN ROCK MUSIC or just loud noises and alcohol come along and i will buy you a beer or a jagerbomb.

hey combining two things SB likes - Japan and garage rock - Japanese punk band Ikochi is playing at Hermann's Bar on sunday at 6. Brigitte Handley and the Dark Shadows are supporting and Jay is showing a doco on the Japanese rock scene before the bands... so Sydneysiders should come down!
