|

Just encountered this while reading the MST3K (Mystery Science Theater 3000) entry at Wikipedia:
| MST3K Article wrote: |
| The videogame magazine PlayStation Underground (Volume 2 Number 1) included a Best Brains-produced MST3K short on one of their promotional discs. The video opened with a host segment of Mike and the Bots playing some PlayStation games, only to go into the theater to riff on some videos from the magazine's past. The feature is about seven minutes long. An Easter egg on the disc has some behind-the-scenes footage of Best Brains filming the sequences. |
It offered this link as a source:

Is there some kind of backlog of those old promotional discs? As a gamer and a MISTie, I'd love to find it.
NOTE: Dunno if this is the right place to post this or not, so I'm trusting the mods to move it if it should go elsewhere. _________________

Yeah, Off-World Interceptor had this set of serious-like sci-fi plottish FMVs, with guys MSTing it throughout. I was too busy paying attention to the MSTing, but I doubt they really had anything to do with the game itself. _________________ Representing the face of destitute gaming |

| I have at least two years of Playstation Underground discs in my attic, and I do remember this. However, I was never a fan of MST3K and cannot say as to whether the same people are involved. |

I have this and it is the actual MST crew (Mike Nelson, Servo, and Crow). It was made during the Sci-Fi Channel era and they mock the stupid intros they used to put on the Underground discs. Definitely a cool item for the serious MSTie.
But yes, it can be found on Youtube. |
