Oh, you mean the bonus boss? Yes, the first one is tough. The others less so. Just get to the save spot before the boss of the next dungeon. By then you should be high enough level to beat Yukiko's bonus boss without any problems. _________________

Oh, a mid boss. Yeah, they always warn you before you're about to open the door to one. It's always a good idea to exit and save for those. _________________

Did Elizabeth talk in vanilla P3? I don't remember her voice at all. It's weird.
And jesus christ @ the high cut armor. _________________

They're not that bad. Just use an FAQ so you know where to hunt for them. You can do almost all of them on your way up to fight the bonus boss. And if you do them you never need to grind for levels to beat the bosses. _________________

Is there any benefit to saving someone earlier rather than later? |
It's better if you save them earlier if you want to work on your party member's s-links. When you still need to save the person sometimes they won't want to spend time and instead they'll say "i'm really worried about X lets go into the tv." _________________

Oh and saving early gives you more time with your uncle's s link.
Also you should only go into the dungeon on rainy days since most s-links aren't available on those days, except for drama girl and the fox.
Also prioritize on leveling up the fox so you can beat the dungeons in a single day and get access to using the shrine to level up your s links. _________________

It's not really that important in this game. It's not like P3 where you couldn't date Mitsuru unless you got first place. _________________

This is the site i used for the quests. Since that shit is in Japanese i couldn't tell the name of the monster, but at least it tells you the floors and by talking to the quest giver you can usually figure it out.
http://persona4.wikidot.com/quests
I should probably sign up for that site and fix it with english translations sometime.
And I just did it the same as Gin, they were never a big hassle.
The quest you are stuck is floor 3 and 4 of the secret lab, they drop from the wrestler dudes. As far as I can tell, the rain is irrelevant. The rain just causes special enemies to spawn. They're like masks floating in balls of fog, I think. _________________

Oh yeah, a few of the quests ask for items that you can sell. After I discovered that I always made a point of turning in all my quests before selling my items. _________________

You can't. Fishing is only for a couple of quests, a request for the hermit s-link, and to trade for items from the old man. Don't bother fishing your first playthrough. Not really worth it, raising your stats is more important. _________________

At night it doesn't matter whether it's raining or not. None of the night s-links are affected by rain. _________________

There's an item, easily purchased, that warps you out of a dungeon instantaneously. Keeping a stock of those is a must in P4 since you can't find exit points on every floor like in P3. Climbing all the way back down is a pain in the ass, and never pleasant when you're running low on SP.
You just got bad luck that time. I got SMTed in this game a lot less than i did in Persona 3 and Nocturne. Only about twice the whole game. _________________

And why does everybody have a dresser BEHIND their headboard. The drawers can't be opened, and you have to reach between the headboard bars to reach the lamp or alarm clock. _________________

I gave up and settled for 3 elements.
I love the arcade in FES. I've been using the same quad elemental Lilim the entire game. She's in her upper 30s, i just reached level 50, but she has 70 magic, 50ish strength, and 50ish agility. _________________

Yes, but I was very careful in Nocturne, planning my fusions and shit like that. Here I'm spending a bare minimum amount of time in the dungeons and I'm just randomly fusing shit. I don't have a persona that can cure fear and I don't think I have an accessory that prevents it either :( |
You don't even need a special persona or accessory. I'm pretty sure he doesn't fear and insta kill the same turn. That means you have 4 player turns to cure fear. Even though fear prevents you from acting sometimes, it's far from 100%, so out of those 4 turns, someone should be using a mepatra gem. It's your own fault you died. _________________

Ok!
He only exists to debilitate bosses. I don't actually use him to fight.
This guy I only use to start battles. My party will start the fight fully buffed, and combined with Daisoyou's debilitate, the first 3 turns are devastating for any boss.
This guy is mainly for random fights, Morning Star is the strongest, hit all almighty attack, and Victory Cry will fill up your SP after every fight. Once I do new game +, this guy will ensure I can beat every dungeon in 1 day even without the fox. He's also resistant or nulls everything except ice.
This guy serves 2 roles. He is my buffer after the initial auto buffs wear off, and with arms master, power charge, and primal force he is also a great physical attacker, awesome for bosses.
This is my healer. Full heal, full HP revive, and all status heals, all while casting spells for half cost. She has it all. If i take the time to level her she'll get Salvatoin too.
This guy has all 4 AOE elemental dynes. and is strong against everything but physical and wind. Also great for random fights
With Fire Boost, Fire Amp, Mind Charge, and Ragnarok, one of the unique elemental attacks, this guy is my main magical attacker on bosses.
So i've got most of my team ready for my new game +. it's going to be a breeze. The only thing I'm still missing is a persona with all 4 single target elemental attacks.
This guy I still need to finish leveling too. Hassou Tobi is supposedly one of the best physical attacks, it does 8 light hits to all enemies and is supposed to be good against random fights and bosses. Even better he has both power charge and arms master. It's also possible to give him debilitate if you fuse him on the 24th, but then you miss out on the Christmas Date.
I don't use this guy, but I think it's hilarious what a blatant Aladdin rip off this is. Atlus apparently didn't give a shit about being sued, yet supposedly Nintendo won't rerelease Earthbound for a few innocent Beatles references.
