Guys, I never s-linked the fox ever and I had no problem. Why are you wasting your SP on crazy spells when you can keep one Persona around that has low level spells of every type if you need it but mainly carry around a physical monster that can deal massive critical hits?

The way I played, I never used any of the side characters really and just kept around a good variety of Personas so I'd never need to depend on anyone but myself.

Ok ok, we are going to beat the Secret Lab today. I have been stuck on it for like 4-5 months now. Last time I played, I spent an hour getting all my personas together and die instantly as the first enemy I ran into cast enrage and had reflect physical. Here we go.

It's not a big deal, I figured it out, but on my third try and only by process of elimination. Dude says there are two groups, then lists six colors, placing 3 in Group A and three in Group B. Then he asks you to decide which group "black" belongs in. Then asks whether they are six most popular car colors or six most popular flag colors. Turns out the answer for black is A and it's flag colors, but not the six colors he named.... Group A is 3 of the most popular 6 flag colors, with black being one of the unnamed other 3, and Group B is a bunch of nothing colors. It just seemed like a riddle in the way "I'm thinking of a number between 1 and 4 and you have as many guesses as you need" is a riddle. Eventually you will get it, but there is no real way to get it besides guessing correctly.

Also on a scale of 1-10 how loaded with spoilers is this thread? I actually super want to read it, but since I'm in the middle of the game I don't want to read a bunch of shit that I haven't played yet.

well, the first couple of pages are relatively free of major spoilers. Though it does spoil a lot of jokes and fun parts, it served as a huge BUY ME ad, for me. Later it gets more spoilerific. But on the whole, the thread is fairly clean and/or flagged mostly properly. Mostly be on the lookout for spoiled endings and such.

Man I kinda wish my group wasn't a bunch of morons. Both after Yukiko and new as yet unnamed about to be kidnapped dude appear on Midnight Channel the game makes it as Completely Transparent as possible who it is that's going to be kidnapped, then you have to sit around watching you and your friends be all I WONDER WHO IT IS, WELP, GUESS WE HAVE TO WAIT AND SEE, when, based on the clues, you could be out preemptively saving some ass from whoever killer TV-thrower person is.

Thread is pretty awesome so far, based on the first page. Daphaknee took some pretty incredible screenshots. Seems like it is already heading into UNEXPLORED GHOST DINOSAUR TERRITORY though, so am afraid to click page 2.

EDIT: I guess it's not quite as bad with the second dude, since you still figure out who he is before (I'm assuming) he gets kidnapped. I'd still be a little happier if it didn't feel like I was being lead around by the nose.

the game kinda gets away with a lot of stuff and then attempts to justifify it. i kinda accept its justifications but a lot of people might be like "well STILL..." and maybe i should be like "well STILL..." too but i'm not, i'm in motion.

Yeah the game does a pretty remarkable job at making you care about your family and friends. I pretty much chatted with the father nearly every chance I got.
