Aw, poor Yosuke. ;_;
They used his motorcycle money to buy Teddie flamboyant clothes.
Man, he seriously sucks now, Teddie.
If Yosuke had a bike, he'd look like Tatsuya from Persona 2.
That'd be an upgrade, totally. _________________

Hrm, Risette's voice is too perky for me.
Also, she didn't wear the funny nose glasses.
Fail.
Only detective trap can save us all now.
Oh wait, is she totally falling for me?
WHOA she is.
WHOA TEDDIE AND YOSUKE
LIVING IN A TREE
K I S S-LINKING
Also, I totally pulled the moving the thumb trick for Nanako and then the game did a FANFARE! Man, this is the best game again. _________________

Don't leave, Spinach. We're just getting started!
Huh, the Egyptians used eye makeup as both an insect repellant and sun block. Interesting. _________________

MAN WHAT IS THE DEFINITION OF RESSENTIMENT??
The definitions they give in the game are ALL WRONG.
1. Jealousy at the weak
2. Jealousy at the superior
3. Anger at the weak
4. Anger at the superior
The psychological meaning for it refers to a hate for things that you cannot define, putting the blame for your troubles on something that doesn't exist. Or something along those lines.
None of those definitions work at all! And I tried 3 and 4 and they were wrong!
This shit better be 2 or I'm calling Atlus and telling them they're losers. ;___; _________________

THERe'S A CAT CRAWLING AROUND THE TOP OF THE ROOF!
Dojima's roof anyway. It's so cute. Why are there so many cats in this game?
Best game ever.
I still haven't maxed anyone's s-link yet, but I do like to pace myself. I'm close with Yukiko at 8 and Yumi's at 8 too. I wonder if I should do them concurrently. _________________

Man, Rise is like totally hitting on me, whoa.
Also, Nanako and Dojima's s-link is pretty sad. I have this strange suspicion something terrible is going to happen to the both of them, given the trend of how characters you really care for tend to get fucked up. ;_; _________________

| This game is a hell of a lot shorter, I think. I remember being at about 100 hours when I finished P3 and I'm probably going to top out at 75 when I finish this. |

Actually, I just bought Persona 3 FES and I'm going to play that before i replay P4. I hope it hasn't been ruined for me.
Can you use a save file from the original for a new game + in FES? _________________

Negative - new game plus carries over into FES, just not 'The Answer', which is in its own little pocket universe.
I'm at the last boss in FES coincidentally but I need to do some level grinding and I don't feel like it :( |

According to the one (and still somehow only) walkthrough on GameFAQs:
Unlike Persona 3's New Game Plus ,Persona 4 's new game plus is like starting the game from scratch.
Things Carried over
The Previous Play Time.
The Amount of Yen you have.
The Persona Compendium List.
The amount of persona slots.
The key items from Max Commu Events.
The Status Parameters. [Which I think means your Courage etc]
Things that doesn't get transferred.
Character LV
The Personas you have at the end.
The equipments you have.
The items you have.

I think Baines was talking about carrying over data from the original P3 into Fes. If I recall, neither your leveling or compendium gets carried over, though it's been a long time for me to remember. _________________

Ok, according to gamefaqs yes, it can be done. But you don't get everything. You keep your compendium, though everything goes back to the default level and skills, no snazzy fusion skills or higher levels. You keep your higher courage, academics, and charm, and you keep any max S link items.
But you lose your levels and equipment and money, which you would have kept if you were doing a NG+ from the same version. Kind of lame but better than nothing. _________________

What stuff carried over? I don't remember at all.
Maybe it was just the level thing that didn't work. _________________

FUCK I WAS ENJOYING THAT DUNGEON TOO MUCH
AND THEN I GOT KILLED BY MEGIDO UUUUU
Man, that's an awesome dungeon.
I like how it has Dragon Warrior 1 style narration when you go up each floor. Good job localizing that, Atlus. God jobu. _________________

Shadow Kanji just killed my full health Hero with one attack that hit him twice.
I've had more trouble with the bathhouse than any other SMT dungeon ever. That's ridiculous for the second dungeon in the game! Nocturne's final dungeon was really tough but that's to be expected. |

Guard! Use that guard judiciously!
I just discovered the lyrics to the battle song:
| Quote: |
Now I face out I hold out
I reach out to the truth of my life
Seeking to seize on the whole moment, yeah
Yeah/ Naked truth lies only if you realize/ Appearing in nobody’s eyes till they sterilize/ Stop the guerrilla warfare to keep fair/ Bro change your rage to a smarter greater cause/ You know the stake is high stardom is near/ Those who sympathized you die killers pass by/ Do not waste your time in hating flirting guys/ Use your might to Ass do justice to them all/
Now I face out I hold out
I reach out to the truth of my life
Seeking to seize on the whole moment to now break away
Oh God let met out Can you let me out
Can you set me free from this dark inner world
Save me now Last beat in the soul |
Man, I don't get how those words translate into that song at all. It's fucking catchy as all hell though. _________________

The only boss I had trouble with was the first bonus boss in Yukiko's castle. After that they were all pretty easy as long as you remembered that charge = guard and used some debuffs. _________________

Kanji and Yousuke just had a funny conversation about what happened during the magician s-link MAX inside the final dungeon inside a random room.
This game is wonderful. _________________

OH MY GOD. Inside the last dungeon:
Oh hey i've been cleaning up my room lately. Since your room was so clean i thought about following your example.
You're right he has a very clean room.
You've been in his room too, Yukiko?
You too, Chie?
. . .
