Maybe for you, but I summoned up a level 50-something Cerberus with Fresh Breeze, God Hand, and Mediarahan. The third boss was especially hilarious- I killed her before she even got her helper out. |

Dudes, you're ignoring the biggest advantages that your teammates have:
1. They're not the Main Character, therefore if they spam a spell or physical attack onto a group of unfamiliar enemies and get them all reflected and die horribly, that's not the end of the game.
2. Physical attacks cost HP. Healing spells cost SP. MC has access to Cool Breeze, which means his healing spells are much cheaper than everyone else's. So, MC with Cool Breeze + Something with Mediarahan + Chie with God Hand and whatever her high-end all-target physical attack is = Anything not immune or reflecting Physical dies horribly and hilariously for basically free. Against bosses, Chie power charges, someone buffs her, then she God Hands. Repeat a few times, possibly. |

| I mean, they're not going to be giving you some NANAKO LOVING SUPER ITEM, y'know? |
Hopefully, Nanako shows up in another game as a swordsmith or something. Clearly, since a little paper armband she makes is more powerful than shit I wrest from the claws of demons spawned from the crawling chaos at the heart of all men, she's gotta have some cool spiritual power.
Even if it is just being the most incredibly nice person ever. |

Hokay, so I finally finished the second time through, getting the true ending this time. Things I noticed:
1. During the 'go around and visit all the social links you maxed' part of the ending, if you visit your classroom, Hanako is there. She's sitting in M.C.'s desk, and crying about how she's totally not sad he's leaving and she totally wasn't the one who kept putting stuff in your shoe locker. (Incidentially, if you check your shoe locker after getting a high rank on your quiz, you get a low-level healing item of some kind.)
2. Kanji is awesome. POLL QUESTION: Kanji: Great jRPG character OR Greatest jRPG character?
3. I wish Izanami's voice acting and facial expressions were less villianous- it really seems like the script calls for a more beatific delivery. I mean, we've already gotten our fill of evil villain rants. I do adore Izanami's character design though, and I kind of wish I'd gotten to see it more.
4. Once you get Trumpeter, it's all downhill from there. |

So, yeah.
GLAD I PLAYED THIS GAME, GUYS |
I'm Ratoslov, and I endorse this post.
Honestly, I'm looking forward to seeing what this team does next. It's amazing how much actual dialogue helps the jRPG formula. |

Some interesting notes about the music of P4.
1. The soundtrack disc issued with the U.S. release of the game has no music from the final final gas station attendant dungeon of the game. Cute, but annoying since the final dungeon music was awesome. Too bad there wasn't a final dungeon quiet atmospheric remix of the normal battle music, though- the switch between that tune and
2. If you rip the actual music from the game disc, you'll find out that there is a lot more P3 music in there than there were available in play- including possibly the entire P3 soundtrack. There's also a few tracks that I don't really recognize. Here's a copy. Anyone more of a Megaten scholar who cares to go through it? |

Actually, I liked Ai's social link a lot, and I even kind of liked Ai a bit. She's a bitch to everyone else because she hates herself. That's something I can sympathize with.
Teddie, on the other hand, is the source of all evil. _________________

Playing through again on Expert difficulty. I am pulling out all the stops and am attempting to fuse a Victory Crywan, because fuck you, game.
How to break the game in half in an incredibly tedious manner:
Step 1: Reach level 24. (Optionally, also have a good bit of cash.)
Step 2: Wait until a Skill Change fusion forecast day. Check out two Personas which will make a Kaiwan. (This is easy, since Kaiwan is the lowest-ranked Star arcana.) Save.
Step 3: Fuse up a Kaiwan.
Step 4: After you fuse the Kaiwan, the Skill Change effect will randomly choose a skill from all the skills the Kaiwan knows, and randomly alter it to another skill of the same 'skill rank'. Tetrakarn, which Kaiwans know natively, is of Rank 7, which is the same skill rank as Victory Cry, along with a number of very nice end-game skills like Mediarahan, Myriad Arrows, Arms/Spell Master, and all of the Repel (Element) skills.
Step 5a: If the skill change resulted in a awesome skill which was not Victory Cry, fuse the Kaiwan with pretty much anything and migrate the skill out of there, then pull out another pair of Persona to fuse the Kaiwan with, save, and return to Step 3.
Step 5b: If you didn't get a decent skill, reset and go back to Step 3.
Step 5c: If you got Victory Cry, congradulations! You just broke the game's economy. _________________
