I'm actually playing this for the first time. I'm saved at the first shooting range in the castle and so far I've died around 20 times I'd say.

Well, I've died a bunch more times when I was fucking around and stuff.

I think my save file is showing 12 right now.

The huge water room with that little alcove and such was great. I love that you can shoot right through the shields and get a headshot with the rifle. I love incindiary grenades.

I love going apeshit with the shotgun and headshotting with the lugerRed9.

I actually did that whole water room on my first try. I do really well on the high pressure situations it seems.

On of my favorite parts so far was getting just a bit too close to one of the cultists with the head monster things, and getting Leons head fucking bitten off.

Or when you go back across the lake at night instead of using the shortcut and get ambushed by wolves.

Is Seperate Ways only on the PS2 version?

Because it's totally fucking awesome. It's basically a series of isolated missions with Ada, that involves a lot of high pressure swarms of enemies and evading cannon fire from the artillery of a docked battleship and stuff. You can't upgrade your weapons either, though you can buy new ones, and your shotgun is basically totally fucking useless by the end. It's just way more fun than the normal game was by the end though. It's also the reason why the blacktail and semi-auto rifle are now my favorite weapons.

Seperate Ways has 5 very well balanced missions. You feel fucking badass too. You start out with a pump action shotgun and a blacktail, and you can buy a TMP, SAR, and Bowgun that fires explosive arrows. These weapons are not upgradable. The whole thing has you blasting your way through rather well placed enemies and the whole thing has a balance that you just never got in any of the other modes.

It's really fun compared to the normal game, and seems a bit harder, but not quite as hard as pro.

Ada runs really fast and has a knife too.
