I spoke to Capcom about Resi 4 PC - its being published by Ubisoft (in Europe) and its out in the next few weeks...
HOWEVER
I just cannot get into Resi Evil 4!
I had it for the GC, got about 4 hours in (just after the first mansion section) and I've now bought it for the PS2, and I really cant get into it!
WHY THE FUCK NOT?
Can someone please tell me how to approach it...Im just not good with 'scary' or 'jumpy' games! _________________

Man, that's your problem right there. Once you get past, I'd say the first boss, it becomes considerably less scary and jumpy. It becomes much more about eradicating intelligent zombies with your vast arsenal and participating in the suitcase shuffle minigame. There are a few boss fights later which may make you fell a little on edge, but you can breeze through them with a rocket launcher with ease.
If you can't get into the game because it's actually about massacring zombies, then I can't help you. In RE4 or in life. |
This is my problem with the majority of FPS games out there...I get way too jumpy with them!
Shit like Black, Resistance and Gears works, becauase you have big fuck off guns, and you never feel out of place...
But when it comes to shit like Half Life, Resi 4, and other shit like that, I just cant shake the feeling that im always one magazine away from being out of ammo...
I will give the game a go...one day, but hmmm...
The first boss was shit though! The fucking lake thing, in a boat...jesus! _________________
