Got four 7s in Japanese review scores posted by Magicbox. Not bad.

I thought the screenshots of this looked kinda cool back when they showed it at TGS or wherever that was when they revealed a boatload of DS games. Never heard anything about it since.

I think it's kinda cool that Nintendo is doing a realistic style jet fighter game. I think using a jet instrument panel/radar is a pretty good fit for touchscreen control. Seems like the game is a somewhat actiony dogfighting game. Not sure if it's more Afterburner or Ace Combat, but it looks kinda cool.

Did we ever get US confirmation of this thing? I'm guessing it will quietly show up in Spring/Summer. Seems like Nintendo is doing a lot of more under the radar releases. No hype for Hotel Dusk. Magnetica and Magical Starsign were pretty hushed. Even some things you'd expect to have a higher profile like Diddy Kong Racing and Mario vs. DK 2 got a little less marketing than I might have expected.

From what I saw on the main site, it's pretty much Ace Combat made by EAD. So it'll rock the fucking house muthafuckaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!

I wonder why they went with the name DS Air, rather than Air DS. I suppose Air DS makes it sound like its the DS version of some console game called Air. I wish they would drop all the DS in the name crap. Its like when they threw 64 (or Super) on everything.
