Clangers and The Flumps.
Vernon Elliot Bassooning his way around space for little to no budget and a Yorkshire family of doddering incompetent pom poms. I don't think anything anyone else says is going to come anywhere damn near to the quality of these gems.

Bungling incompetent servants preparing food with little to no regard for hygiene or health and safety.

Fuckity fucksticks I keep remembering even more awesome animations.
This time it is Willo the Wisp. Psycho TV griefs a bunch of ... things in the forest.
Also The Wind in the Willows, although it may be a bit old fashioned for most peoples sensitivities.

I think that was Weeman. There was a crocodile too. But I forget if he was the host or some random puppet gag character.
RobotRocker - that Dreamstone thing looks really familiar, I remember that bananafish thing, but I'm sure I never used to watch it.
I think the Peperami ads count as British animation.. Or at least the puppet ones do. Random fact- I used to work for the guy who created and animated him!
Also we're forgetting the Welsh (voice talent at least!) dynamos that were Fireman Sam and Postman Pat! |

Also: Superted, but i didn't like him that much.
