only with the right soundtrack.
alright gang, i've got a bit of a stumper for you. my joypad suddenly stopped working with a couple programs while continuing to work with others. kega fusion and joy2key don't read it (you can see why this is a crisis), virtuanes and bgb read it fine. here's where it gets tricky: i switched joypads and got the same results. what's the deal? _________________

okay, i think i figured out why this is. bear with me: my joypad is now being read as the port 2 joypad instead of the port 1 joypad. i think this happened when i installed my "bluetooth virtual HID keyboard" (so i could use a wiimote with my computer), which seems to have bumped my joypad down a spot on control panel > gamepads.
so my standing question is: how can i change which gamepad's in port one and which is in port two?
UPDATE: disabling bluetooth makes my joypad port one again. windows is beyond my comprehension. _________________

some people here have played grim fandango, right
maybe even recently
i can install it and run it and watch the opening movie just fine, but when the actual game begins manny scatters into a snowstorm of pixels covering the screen
any ideas? _________________

i don't care about valve one way or another
actually i feel like they approach game design with a labcoat and tweezers and the resulting games have this antiseptic feel that doesn't do much for me
but anyway stop being so infuriating _________________
