| Speaking of Street Fighter, are there any Xbox 360-compatible controllers that have a better D-pad and button layout for use with the aforementioned game? |

| It was just brought up in another thread but I'll ask here - is that Table Tennis game by Rockstar worth purchasing? |

| I'm trying to remember this indie game I saw an article about a long while ago - I believe you are essentially a ball that rolls around in a sort of surreal-fantasty 2D platform world and has very pretty storybook-ish art. Am I ringing any bells? |

| Is there any reason why I should not unplug my Xbox 360 when I'm not using it? Sometimes at night I can see the steady orange glow of that little light on the power brick, and I wonder about how much electricity is being wasted. |

Is there any sort of accepted... XBL etiquette... in terms of what you call people in voice chat?
Say perhaps I am playing against ShaperMc, whose gamertag is ShaperTGQ. Should I just say "sup Shaper" if I initiate a private voice chat, or go through some introductions and be like "my name is mike (not as obvious on xbl since my gamertag is ilopan, there), and yours?" |

Tales of Symphonia, maybe? I liked its style and thought the combat was pretty fun.
Maybe Secret of Evermore.
It suddenly occurs to me how few RPGs I've played in general. |

You know what's really funny about this (or maybe me)? The original wii-zapper concept, I knew exactly what it would feel like to hold: Right hand on the pistol grip, left hand under the "barrel" for support. Because of the location of the trigger on this new version, I can't tell if I'd be more comfortable holding it with my right hand on the forward grip because that trigger finger is probably quicker, or with my left hand on the forward grip since I'm more inclined to hold the rear grip with my right hand. :\ |

Well, I liked the demo - for what that's worth.
If I remember correctly the game's requirements were just a little too steep for my poor little laptop. Which is sort of funny because I was able to run WH 40k: DoW pretty well on it.
But I liked the things that game did. |

| What's the best way to play Arkanoid? |
On an arcade cab if you can. Otherwise anything that will allow you to have analog control that's quick (i.e., mouse-controlled).
But personally, I'd recommend any number of a bunch of variants/clones that have been released in recent years over Arkanoid itself:
Breakquest (PC)
Nervous Brickdown (DS)
Um...shit there are others but I can't remember right now. |

Does anybody remember the names of (or can anybody link to) those websites that were used to promote the original Metroid Prime? There were at least three I can think of:
One which was a bogus weapons-manufacturer
One which was a site for conspiracy theorists/UFO watchers
And another for some speculative all-female space exploration plan
EDIT: I found them
1) Orbis Labs (but some dude bought the domain! well, his portfolio isn't so bad) www.orbislabs.com
2) Channel51.org (defunct)
3) athenaastronautics.com (also defunct)
EDIT AGAIN: WOOT for the wayback machine
1)Orbis Labs
2)Channel 51
3)Athena Astronautics

| You might be stuck going the route I did - I coughed up the dough for a pair of wireless headphones, and I just connected the audio cables from the xbox straight into their base. |

I got a pair of overpriced (lol Sony) Sony headphones - model MDR-RF960R. They leave something to be desired. The sound quality is good, but there's a bad tendency toward static and interference, especially after they've been in use for an hour or two and the battery is draining. I wouldn't recommend them. On the plus side, they're comfortable to wear for long periods.
EDIT: BUT NOT AS COMFORTABLE AS THIS TOP POST! |

Does the PS3 come with an HDMI cable?
edit: also are there any reasons not to orient the system vertically while it's being played? (disc-scratching issues, etc?) |
