How come the second form of La-Mulana's final boss has no accessible weak point?

Like, do I use the flares on her or what? Because Lemeza can't jump high enough to reach her with his other weapons.

I've got a quick question!

Why oh why did I have to kill our mother at the end of La Mulana?

Why?

I've got a quick question!

Why isn't there an axolotl Pokémon already? Are they like holding out for the fifth generation or what?

I've got a quick question!

I've been playing Shiren the Wanderer, and everytime I died, I erased the save file. Because I want to get a No Miss Clear to obtain a nonexistant secret ending or something.

However, the following dessgeega quote:
Quote:
there are towns spread between the dungeon levels, and as you play, and die, and pass through them again, they change and grow.
...makes me believe that, counterintuitively, dying does not reset all of your progress.

So, my question is: how do I access Fei's Second Problem? Seemingly the only way to return to the Valley Inn is to die, and if you do that Fei resets to the first problem.

what? do you mean Fei's Final Problem, the last secret dungeon?

What you are saying is confusing. Every time you finish one of Fei's Problems, and then die/return to the start, he should present the next Problem to you. If he doesn't, then something must be screwed up - you might be using the wrong emulator, or if you're using save states, that can really confuse the hell out of the game.

Yeah it sounds like L is using save-states.
Nooooope.

Okay, let's see now.

I reappear in Village Inn.

The old woman asks how my trip through Impasse Valley went.

I go next door.

"1 Fei's Problem"

I get a Power Herb.

I go to "1 Old Cedar-lined Road"

I get killed.

The score list looks like this:

Oh, look, here's the ROM I'm using. Yes, it's exactly 4,194,304 bytes. The other ROMs don't work under SNES9X for OS X.

I played it on SNES9x without any problems, but I also agree that it looks like your SRAM file is wonked and recommend deleting it.

Okay, let's try this again.

I start at Village Inn.

"1 Fei's Problem"

I get a Rice Ball.

I go to "1 Old Cedar-lined Road"

I get killed.

The score list looks like this:

Still no idea why I still can't get higher than "1 Fei's Problem", or why the Warehouse is always empty no matter how much stuff I leave in it.

I suspect it's an SNES9X problem, but unfortunately the latest version (1.5 compared to my 1.39a) doesn't work on OS X 10.2.8, which is what I have, so I can't test this theory.

(Later I was killed by a Mamul while holding 478 Gitan. The score was "500 Collapsed in starvation...")

I've got a question!

Has anyone else noticed that the bone-throwing skeleton Bowser in NSMB is a modern interpretation of the Hammer-throwing Bowsers in SMB?

I thought that was pretty clever.

because the more you have, the higher the difficulty gets, so you have the "option" of more firepower, or tougher enemies.

That only makes sense external to the game world itself. What he wants to know is: why does the Gradius defense force call them Options?

(Note: In certain contexts they are called MULTIPLES.)

Aww man, I was all set up to download the complete soundtrack to that "Eternal Daughter" game, but then what! It's gone! So, anyone else have it? (Actually, all I really want is the music for that forest place.)

Q: Is Luigi's Final Smash ('Negative Zone') actually called 'Minus World' in the Japanese version? Just checking.

I have some questions.

1) In Magicant, can Ness use the bicycle?

2) In MOTHER 3, is there a Magicant? This is a concern of mine. Give no, no answer or yes.

I have a question!

In Earth Bound Zero, there is a line of battle text which reads "<Bear> just grins, and bears it." It is used by Bear and Hyena. Pray tell, what was this line in the original Japanese?
