Man congratulations on all that. Sounds really awesome. If I ever find myself in Tokyo in need of a place to stay you'll be the first person I contact (probably after getting almost raped trying to sleep in a park somewhere).
I am totally jealous over here. I want a green garden campsite roof, with a workout bench and weights. And a tarp.

I damn well hope it really happens! That would just be so cool. I mean, say you come home sometime and don't feel like walking up the stairs or whatever, so you can just be like "I know, I'll take the secret escape route!" and then just climb up from the alley.
Probably want to keep the door to your house on your roof locked if you were going to leave a rope just hanging there out in the open. Unless you were just planning on using it solely for escape-related purposes. Though I am enjoying the mental images I get of confounded hobos pondering the purpose of the rope hanging down the side of a building in their favorite alley or whatever.
