hay guys what's going on
cleveland has mad grease love. And our 24 hour diners are the dope shit.
and mr. hero which is god's sub place, if god likes grease (protip:yup).
also i used to put ketchup on everything.
but sometimes, i discovered, thousand island dressing is good.
also, on a bratwurst, nothing beats cleveland stadium mustard. |

| Man the Diners in other states aren't bad but they are very different. It's not just the food that matters, it's the atmosphere. Sure you can get a passable burger with good fries anywhere. But I doubt you have that particular atmosphere of a chromeplated railcar diner sitting half empty off the freeway. Where is the jukebox? Where is the TV playing closed captioned news. Where are the waiters forgetting you're there and going home for the night because you just spent 4 hours eating food? |
Tulpa there are two railcar diners in Cleveland. I have not been to them, but I bet they are like this.
Also, the best diner in cleveland used to be a Sister's chicken. Then some greek family (I think they are greek) bought it and turned it into a 24 hour joint, and you can get a feta and spinach omlette, maybe with gyro meat in it, at 3 in the morning and it is awesome. |
