Guys ketchup is great but WHAT ARE YOU DOING Marinara sauce and onions are the only things that go on a cheesesteak and they're fucking required! Mushrooms are a maybe but I hate mushrooms and they ruin the flavor of anything they touch.
Where are you from HarveyQ? If you come from outside of the tristate area you've never eaten a Philly Cheesesteak, you've eaten poop.
Once I was at this really shitty pizza place and I ordered a cheesesteak and they put GRAVY ON IT. I grudgingly ate it and suffered as a result. _________________

The next time I see a fucking hippy guy buy a shitty deep dish pizza and slather it in sriracha I am punching him through a wall. _________________

That's sick and wrong. Once I asked for onions and sauce on my philly and they just looked at me weird and said "what sauce?"
I decided not to eat. _________________

Man Cuba what? East coast Chinese Food is hell of a lot better than West Coast. We've got motherfucking Wo Hop in NYC. It's better than anything on the west coast. ANYTHING. Regardless of food genre, it's hands down the best food I have ever eaten, and it's open 24 hours a day.
Actually I noticed in Olympia that there is one chinese restaurant and it sucks a lot. _________________

the west coast can stuff it, I haven't had any exceptional food by my standards except for one italian restaurant that had authentic sicilian pizza and I got to eat in the kitchen and it was awesome. _________________

I've also experienced Seattle and hell of other small towns in Washington. I just doubt that a state can be so close to a culinary mecca and not have good food except for the rare exception. _________________

Oh okay, that's outside my range of experience.
I doubt there's any food as good as Wo Hop, though. That's simply beyond anyone's capabilities. _________________

You can't take diners away from the east coast. A nice greek-owned chrome plated diner is an experience unique to jersey and as far as I'm concerned not even neighbouring states have anything remotely like it.
EDIT: Also I'll have to try LA sometime then. _________________

I've eaten at an authentic railcar diner.
It's not a real diner unless everything you order comes with a pickle and some coleslaw, neither of which you eat. _________________

But yeah most Jersey diners are on like the border of what used to be farmland (come to think of it I should've eaten at that diner by where I grew up back when it was still a farm-town; it was probably awesome.) _________________

Man the Diners in other states aren't bad but they are very different. It's not just the food that matters, it's the atmosphere. Sure you can get a passable burger with good fries anywhere. But I doubt you have that particular atmosphere of a chromeplated railcar diner sitting half empty off the freeway. Where is the jukebox? Where is the TV playing closed captioned news. Where are the waiters forgetting you're there and going home for the night because you just spent 4 hours eating food? _________________

I think so too. I need to eat in LA eventually. I can live without having good bagels or pizza if all the other food was good. Washington is a shitty state for people that like food. _________________

Yeah probably. I totally forgot what a foodie place New Orleans is supposed to be.
I also kind of regret never eating in the Haitian part of town in Irvington. There was this awesome restaurant named simply "Jambalaya" that I was always tempted to eat at. But apparently there was a shooting there and the place closed down permanently. _________________

Oh by the way, is there anywhere else in the country that makes good bagels? _________________
