L, I really enjoyed your short LD games, especially the comedic timing (but graphics & narrative as well) (& I find your dual-control browser games impossible, because I am bad at games)

So I tried the new Adam Saltsman iCuttingboard game "Hundreds". It's basically Osmos (increase size of spheres while avoiding other spheres) mixed with Qix (increase territory during intervals when moving things aren't around). Not a fan of the colour scheme, tho. I give it a solid B+.

(I have a new policy of only giving games "a solid B+" from now on.)

L mentioned it on the last page. And then mentioned it again. But maybe you're mentioning it ironically. In any event, I coincidentally just finished it. It's somethin', isn't it?

Yeah yeah, it seems like just another indie Sokoban, but halfway through you get to selectively corrupt parts of the game, and at that point the gloves are off.

Bubblegum Slaughter: magical girl RPG. Note: go to non-plot areas to grind for crystals for your all-important Crystal Magic.

I'm trying to replay it to see the different endings, but on my first playthrough I got crazy lucky with the tree demon fight, so this is taking much longer than expected

The introduction through to the end of the first fight is wonderful, and the rest is merely very enjoyable.

The dealie with this thing is that the screen is split into these rotated pieces. That's it. You can't move them, you just have to live with them.

So, the first time through Corrypt I didn't quite register how effective the UNDO button is. I played it until I ruined the universe and got myself stuck, shrugged, and quit.

Learned about UNDO, didn't return to it just yet.

Watched a friend of mine playing it on his touch thing, got caught up in helping him dodge skeletons and detangle his world, decided to give it another go at last

and I beat it all in one sitting; it exploded my brain along the way. It's really amazing.

Jelly no Puzzle really illustrates how good level design can elevate even a mechanically simple game. These levels are very good at just barely denying you an easy solution, then forcing you to do something completely different to get the real solution.

And I must also credit how diverse the puzzles are:

Even without knowing the rules, you can see how each of these feels different and distinct.

I played the (even more) beta version of Jelly no Puzzle a few months back which at that point was just the first 20 levels (it's up to 40 now) and yeah, Qrostar just has a knack for puzzle design. This new latter set of 20 puzzles introduces a new gameplay mechanic reminiscent of his earlier game Hanano Puzzle, and you see puzzle concepts from those earlier levels revisited and how much the solutions need to be altered due to this alteration.

I've got the first 35 puzzles finished now and I'd definitely recommend giving it a shot.

Small Child in Woods - A bit dry but has some genuinely funny moments.

And then you can try Cow Farming Activities on the Former West which is a much more over-the-top sort of game. You will need some kind of solution to solve this puzzle!

Yeah, if you haven't played Imscared you absolutely have to. There's a game that literally can't be made on a console or smartphone or steam or on any of the forthcoming wave of mandatory-codesigned platforms like Windows 9 or OSX 10.9 or whatever.

Guys there are so many amazing indie games coming out this year!
