DONG DONG NEVER DIE

indie game from china, feat 24 mo-capped characters, all with unique normals/supers/specials. it might not be super balanced but it actually plays decently, kind of a mix between mortal kombat and kof. I love the aesthetic! it seems to have netplay built in aswell.

THOSE GRAPHICS

i played les abbaye des morts a few months ago and loved it. Strangely evocative for such a minimal game - the room with the guys hung from the trees especially . I really thought the scale of the whole thing was spot on! Limited lives in a short metrovania is an interesting concept imo.

Sense of speed and movement is great. Is the charge move and dashing integrated into this alpha? Couldn't figure how to trigger it.

Alt-Fire: bind “mouse2” “impulse 100”

Dash: bind “ctrl” “impulse 15”

yeah, TrackMania was literally the only decent one I could think of :(

There is that neon san-francisco rush game that just come out of digipen, I guess I'll give it a shot.

I can understand why indies stay away from sim racing games, but I thought there would be more racing stuff. I dunno it seems like it you could do ok shipping out a decent little engine and selling post launch tracks/cars etc
