| Nah, not yet. The model still needs a couple of details and some optimization, once that's done I'll texture, rig and pose it. Basically I'm planning to do a bunch like these guys. |

OK I think I'll just call him done.
I had originally planned to rig and pose him (also, uh, make his whip) but I feel kinda tired of looking at him and might just move on to other stuff... |

Doodles I did today of some of Anor Londo, if Dark Souls had a map. Of course there are mistakes all over.
By the way, Mapstalgia is still going strong, in case people haven't checked on it since |

These guys look like they could be either enemies or player characters. I think that's a good thing. |

That reminds me of my favorite game of all time, Home Alone for SNES.
Here's a drawring of a killer jazz musician:

Do you do skeletal/gesture work before you lay everything in, or do you start with the outline? _________________

| There's not too much method to the madness, but a little bit of both, I guess? Might block out some proportions, and I try to check and make sure that the anatomy of, say, the ribcage and hips is sound before getting bogged down in details, but past that I just kind of winging it. |

Jigsaw I want to play this game. Is this for a hypothetically real game or just a purely hypothetical game?
Also, I've always wanted to see a beltscroll character who fought squared off to his targets i.e. in profile to the camera, which is the stance of most practical mixed martial artists. I know flashiness is the whole point of beltscrolls but still... _________________ Let's Play, starring me. |

Jigsaw, I'm similar in that projects are spread out into different things, so sadly, I don't end up picking up a pen to draw for months. I've been getting the serious itch to lately however, as has writing been the past week. |

I should trace and finish later...been way too long since.
Extra, do you paint with watercolors often? I miss them, never quite got the hang of 'em. |

I don't really do watercolors since I don't have any brushes. The above was a mix of eyedropper, spray bottle and pens with assorted inks. _________________

Cuba, I'd say it's kind of the latter, slowly eking its way towards the former. I have tons of ideas for designs, game mechanics and whatnot, and I do aim to at the very least document as much of it as I can so that it could become something real eventually. I mean, it's a game I really want to play as well, so I hope to make it happen at some point.
But considering that A) it's taken me a few years to even get anything down on paper really, B) I don't have the programming/sound/music/etc knowhow to realize my ideas, and C) I kind of hate the idea of putting my baby in the hands of someone else, I really doubt it will happen soon if ever. I mean, if someone was like "yo this shit is awesome, let me program it for you without wanting to change anything about the design" that would be swell, but that's not really something I expect to happen. |
