Mine's Brock2097. I don't know if I can do multiplayer yet. I've only beat Phalanx (that's 1-1 right?) so far. Getting my ass whooped.

Shields are pretty much useless against Maneater because all of his attacks break your guard. Try whichever weapon you can work faster with to get in as many hits as you can, then dodge away and repeat. Ranged magic spells will make things easier. Stock up on HP/MP refill items. To make dodging his attacks easier try huddling near the big torch in the middle of the bridge. Try reviving yourself if you're not in body form and find some partners to help out.
