I've got an MSI Wind u100 that I added 2GB of ram to (granted, it maxes out at 2GB) that I use for portable development. I put OSX and Windows 7 on it, and OSX runs better than XP, Vista, or 7 on this thing. My wife has a Lenovo S10 that's got a nicer form-factor but what I feel is a worse keyboard. It also doesn't run OSX as easily out of the box (no dedicated distro like on the Wind).

The Wind runs the iPhone SDK emulator pretty well (not full speed, but you can just hook up your phone if you want), and Unity runs well enough to be usable (as long as you disable fancy graphics effects and do that stuff on a higher end machine). DS emulation works well enough, but not great. Native mac / windows apps run well as long as it doesn't start trying to emulate effects in software.

I'm currently pushing all game development at my company to get our games to run well on standard netbooks (even if just at low graphical quality, but ideally at FULL quality), since pretty soon everybody will have them. It's a nice opportunity to force PC development to optimize for somewhat standardized hardware, yay.
