Someone I had just met once asked me: "Do you play video games?"

"I have occasion to play video games."

"Oh, you look like you play video games. I do too, but I don't look like I play video games." His tone suggested that he meant this to be reassuring.

I wasn't certain how he meant me to take this, so I replied "Actually, you do look like you play video games. I assumed you did from the moment I met you."

Variations on this were all I really said to him for the duration of our acquaintance.
